Co2 Grandis^® (Red Grandis) is a versatile, fast-growing hardwood. Its colour has variations ranging from pale pink to deep red. The appealing, moderately coarse grain pattern is primarily straight with few knots and is not dissimilar in hardness and density to mahogany and cherry. A perfect choice for a contemporary look.

Co2 Grandis ^® (Red Grandis) is a premium quality hardwood.

The Kiln drying process from the mills in Uruguay tend to over dry the timber usually 8/10% moisture content which is to dry for external cladding in the UK. Our Co2 Grandis ^® (Red Grandis) is conditioned (re-hydrated) to increase the moisture content to approximately 14\16% which is perfect for the UK climate, thus reducing significantly problems arising from expansion and contraction.

Please check with your supplier to see if they are supplying you with conditioned Red Grandis.

It performs well in exterior applications such as Decking – Fencing – Cladding and Flooring

Our Co2 Grandis ^® is FSC, PEFC certified and EUTR compliant and we aim to keep our carbon footprint to a minimum and encourage sustainable practices.
